Ontwerp in detail

Nice Effect With Realistic Expectations

The goal was to improve both the light and the appearance at the entrance to our yard. Having both solar and hardwired configurations makes the design workable for different parts of a property. It is not completely effortless to plan, though I am happy with how it looks in normal use.

Exactly the Effect We Wanted

I ordered this ribbed-glass outdoor pillar light after comparing several fixtures with a similar look. We planned to place it on the patio pillars. Having both solar and hardwired configurations makes the design workable for different parts of a property. The wide range of sizes made it easier to match the width of our existing columns. The ribbed glass adds texture and breaks up the light more gracefully than a plain clear panel. It works well with the surrounding finishes and made the whole area feel more complete.

Strong Design With a Minor Tradeoff

I chose this ribbed-glass outdoor pillar light after checking its proportions. We planned to use it at the entrance to our yard. The ribbed glass adds texture and breaks up the light more gracefully than a plain clear panel. The wide range of sizes made it easier to match the width of our existing columns. The setup required a little extra attention, but the final light pattern and overall appearance are very good.

Clean Design and Useful Light

I ordered this ribbed-glass outdoor pillar light after comparing several fixtures with a similar look. We planned to place it on the patio pillars. Having both solar and hardwired configurations makes the design workable for different parts of a property. The ribbed glass adds texture and breaks up the light more gracefully than a plain clear panel. The fixture has a classic outline, but the glass treatment keeps it from looking dated. I would use the same fixture again in another part of the property.

Check the Dimensions Carefully

This ribbed-glass outdoor pillar light replaced a basic fixture at the entrance to our yard. Having both solar and hardwired configurations makes the design workable for different parts of a property. The wide range of sizes made it easier to match the width of our existing columns. The finish shows dust up close. Once that was addressed, the fixture gave us the look we wanted.
